I often consider the act of assemblage as choreography. An aspect of practice that nurtures the dance between materials, concepts, form, and play. Assembled and arranged from found and fabricated items, this series of sculptures juxtaposes functional, decorative and commemorative characteristics of objects. Sometimes the dance is smooth, sometimes contradictory.
