I like my work to have simple clean lines and take my inspiration from nature.  I do not try to capture exact detail in my work but rather the movement and memory associated with the subject.  In general I like it when a client ascribes their own memory to a piece of my work.  I think a piece of work is successful when the clients tells you that the sculpture reminds them of a event or a person in their life, it becomes an object of association for them.

My work is the result of a lifetime of “making” I like the craft aspect of what I do and have honed the skills of working with metal for more than thirty five years.  Working in bronze is a joy,  the material is very responsive to being worked  and it takes well to fine finishing. My studio is a fully equipped workshop and foundry where I can realise my work from concept to the finished piece.
