Looking for an exciting way to spark your child's creativity and connection with nature these school holidays? Join dynamic mother and daughter duo for two modular workshops designed for 6-12y olds, blending art, imagination, and outdoor exploration!
On Monday, dive into the magical Understory exhibition at the Waiheke Community Art Gallery, where we’ll explore eco-themed artworks and unleash creativity in the "Understory Regeneration Zone". There’ll be fun activities such as creating a collaborative mural, playing gallery bingo, and storytelling through art. On Wednesday, we’ll head outdoors to Alison Park for an adventure-packed morning filled with bug hunts, leaf printing, sensory scavenger hunts, and sketching nature. Each workshop offers unique experiences, so your child can enjoy one or both (note days may swap according to weather). Don’t forget to pack morning tea, a sunhat, sunscreen, raincoat, and sturdy shoes for exploring. To reserve your child’s spot, RSVP Monica: 021 049 2036 / monica.a.peters@gmail.com
