Figures In The Landscape

The Waiheke Community Art Gallery is proud to present a group exhibition 'Figures In The Landscape' featuring works by artists such as Paul Martinson, Andrea Hopkins, John McLean and Liam Davidson. We are delighted to be able to include Euan Macleod in the exhibition, a New Zealander who now lives in Australia. Euan exhibited here recently in conjunction with the Waiheke Book Festival, and plans to return with a group of Australian artists for a short residency in 2013.
This exhibition explores the different styles of and genres of work utilized by artist’s when creating images that explore the figure and its relationship to and with the landscape within the work.
The exhibition contains two and three dimensional work.

Blue Spaces

Passionate about our marine environment? Then celebrate and promote SEA WEEK by participating in the Waiheke Community Art Gallery's exhibition 'Blue Spaces' We are looking for works that focus on the gulf marine environment and can include an innovative variety of artwork and installation. Entry fee is just $15 and works need arrive at the gallery by Friday 2nd March.
