2011 Small Sculpture Prize

The Waiheke Community Art Gallery is proud to present the 2011 Small Sculpture Prize. This is an National Award for free standing or wall sculpture. This years Judge was Dr Peter Shand and the exhibition is presented in conjunction with Obsidian Vineyard.
The 2011 finalists include Lucy Bucknall, David McGil, Robert Hague, John Ecuyer, Doug Marsden, Jonathan Campbell, Janet Belton, Lee Brogan, Gareth Williams, Deborah Crowe, Jane Downes, Graeme D Hitchcock, Chris Mules, Maragret Feeney, Gill Gatfield, Nikki Hastings McFall, Barabara Licha, Lonnie Hutchinson, A.D. Schierning & Jenny Laycock, Karin Strachan, Kiya Nancarrow, Oliver Stretton-Pow, Melissa Young, Rebecca Rose, and Jim Wheeler.
Their works make an exciting and thought provoking exhibition that has been receiving very favourable comments.
The Award winner was Lonnie Hutchinson for her work Comb AP1.
