In the Small Gallery Waiheke photographer Clive Wilson exhibits his suite of Waiheke Mandalas. He says, "Living on the edge of Okahuiti Bay, looking across to the Shelley Beach peninsula I have found the water views and reflections a great source of inspiration, and this caused me to investigate the many photographs I have taken over the years. A Persian carpet effect kept surfacing so I have used this theme to create works of harmony and balance which are peaceful and reflective. I have called them mandalas as that is the generic term of any plan or chart that reflects the cosmos metaphysically.
